Genital Dystopia is an open research in which the boundaries of reality, fetish and utopia are played.
What could happen if we become open books concerning our sexuality? How would you react if facesitting or water ports become the 9 o-clock coffee chitchat?
The world of today, although already sometimes open minded and tolerant is nevertheless full of taboos and clichés regarding sexuality and sexual fantasies.
Fetish is still a notion for many that refer to disturbance or deviation.
Genital Dystopia is a reflection upon this possibility, an opening to a NEW world.
It is an investigation about the co-relation between pop culture and fetishism but also an examination of the cliché.
Inspired on the concept of a board game, this performance is revealed to the audience as a fetishistic game played through the space. Bending concepts such as genital utopia, sex-economy, mental hygiene or sexual hygiene, among others, the physicality is discovered step by step, rule after rule. The spectator will witness the role-playing by the objectification of the body brought through spatial composition, repetition and improvisation.
We are starting a war, a massive conversion!
Find your enemy! We must be ready!
